Please start making plans for the 6th Morris Drive reunion on Aug 14 and 15. The reunion committee is making plans for the next reunion we look forward to seeing all the old and new Morris Drive residents out for a wonderful weekend of renewing old friendships and making new ones. (Check out the pictures from some past reunions. Are you in there?)

 We will be providing hot dogs and hamburgers for Saturday’s event, and are asking folks to bring a covered dish for Sunday.

We are asking each family to donate $25.00 or as much as you can afford, to help cover the cost of drinks and food for the two days. If you can give more great, if you can’t give that much that is fine too, you are still more than welcome to come and join in on the festivities!

What we know so far:

Saturday12:00: come on in and meet old friends at 1:00 we will start serving hot dogs and hamburgers. We have lots of fun planned for the kids this year. We will be doing some new crafts that they can take home to remember the event. We also have a local musician, Brandon Green scheduled to introduce the kids and interested adults to some stringed instruments. This should be a very informative and fun class for all ages. We will also be giving tours on Morris Creek to showcase all the hard work of our Morris Creek Watershed volunteers.

We are mixing it up a bit this year with a concert starting at 7pm by Brandon Green and the Judah’s Lyons, a local blue grass, folk, and gospel band. To cover Brandon’s time and the time of the band we are asking for a $5 donation at the door for the evening concert.

Sunday 1:30: A covered dish dinner will be served {Please bring a dish to share}. At 3:30 pm Martin Luther King Jr. Choir will take the stage. Please plan to bring a love offering for them to help cover the cost of their travel. Lots more to come; check our web page for updates!
